Boya Dee is a London based, multi-skilled director whose uncompromising social messaging and creative reach has seen him harness his musical connections to launch progressive campaigns against hate speech and air pollution, alongside creating stylish content for major brands including Nike, Speedo and Toyota. Recently, Boya collaborated with TikTok to direct their ‘Upended’ documentary campaign for Cannes Lions 2021, drawing from his background in journalism and correspondence for the likes of The Guardian and Channel 4 to capture candid, thoughtful performances from his subjects. He has since branched into film, which has always been his main passion and his love for storytelling can be seen in all his work.
