Director Biography - Andrew Vandaele, Ulrica de la Mar

Since November 2019 Award Winners Ulrica and Andrew have worked closely together in short films, she as producer/actress and he as director/writer. This successful cooperation between them has resulted in an expansion of filming activities, such as entering film competitions under the name of “Inside31Productions”.

* About director Andrew Vandaele:
Andrew is an expert storyteller and visionary director.
He is genius in creating his own unique world and absurdism.
In his films you often get a feeling of unease, awkwardness.
But there is something poetic too that you feel as a viewer.

* About co-director, producer Ulrica de la Mar:
During her acting career, she started to produce several movies. Her experience of assistant director at "The Hague Comedy" theatre company, is a big advantage to understand the wishes of the director.
Her skills to motivate the team to aim a higher level, and give young talents the opportunity are not a given but a certain.
