I am a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Master's degree in Dramatic Writing. I am a Philadelphia native who wishes she was born and bred in Texas.
I had an illuminating experience working as a TV Development Intern at Blumhouse Productions that taught me how to build my network, nail a perfect pitch, and keep organization as my highest priority.
My time at SCAD also taught me how to craft compelling stories expertly, the priceless value of earnest contribution, and how there's no such thing as writer's block; it's merely poor planning. (GAH!)
Drama television has always been my first love, but the horror genre is slowly but surely stealing my heart away. (I'd be happy to discuss how the Haunting of Hill House is one of the most significant and moving pieces of fiction to hit the small screen in over a decade.)
I am a soulful black woman with infinite stories inside that are bursting to be told.
Storytelling, in its infinite forms, has saved my life in more ways than I can count, and it's become a blessing and a curse to finally understand that this is what I was born to do.
So here we are!
I am eager to tell infinite stories through the use of film, screenplays, stage plays, poetry, and whatever other medium that may both challenge and intrigue me.
