Borderline Stories

"Borderline Stories" is a short documentary film shot in March 2022 at the Polish-Ukrainian border crossing in Medyka and Przemyśl. At that time, Poland received the first wave of refugees fleeing Russian aggression in Ukraine.

The material shows real events, meetings, conversations and tragic human stories that took place in the first weeks of the brutal Russian invasion, the target and victims of which were civilians. As a result of these ruthless actions, many women, children and the elderly were forced to flee, often without knowing their further destination. Volunteers from all over the world came to the border crossing in Medyka. Thanks to them, it was possible to help refugees immediately. The film was shot by a Polish volunteer and is dedicated to all people of good will who give a light of hope in these dark times.
