"With the magical and surreal world of the Crossroads Diner, I’m looking forward to delving into the out-of-touch world that Desmond has found himself a part of as he tries to come back to reality. There to help is the ever mysterious, yet fully discovered Robin, who serves as a source of guidance for anyone that finds themselves at Crossroads Diner, and offers them a decision that will change their direction in life. With Desmond, I hope to reach out to the out of touch people that find themselves lost or isolated in a discombobulating world, and will hopefully offer a sense of perspective and reliability they can find connection with. I want to delve into the shroud surrounding Robin and the ever mysterious ways of his confident, intuitive wisdom."
-Will Pash, Co-director
"This episode deals with the feeling of detachment, and in Desmond’s case, how those feelings can lead to self deprecation, creating a twisted view of the self. We also experience a version of Robin that is becoming aware of how much of his own life he has sacrificed to help others in their journeys. Robin provides a safe space for Desmond, away from all the turmoil of the real world. To Robin’s surprise, Desmond reminds him of the dangers of isolating himself. Our intention is to portray the relevance of this encounter for both characters and how big of an impact a conversation can have."
