Bonnie 'Til Spring

Expecting a tranquil spring get-away, four friends spend a week at an Appalachian camping resort, but the good times soon turn sour as emotions build and communication breaks down. As they say, spring is the time of change; for better or for worse.

Director Statement

What compelled me to make 'Bonnie 'Til Spring', was as brief story told to me by a friend and frequent collaborator, Madilen Nutter. This story was about a puppet that her mother had made for her as a child. This puppet had a name, it was Bonnie, and she had been in the family since Madilen's childhood. Over the years, it had taken on life; life that needed to be seen and explored. So I gathered my friends, and set off to tell the Appalachian story of a puppet named Bonnie.
