Bodies for Change
The documentary 'Bodies for Change' explores an alternative, intersectional approach to social change, that focuses on the potentialities of bodies rather than minds.
It portrays Camille Barton, a non-binary queer artist who tries to tackle social issues such as racism and sexism, using their live performance and body movement.
Camille’s work is intertwined with anonymous voices from all around the world, telling their worries in the current social context as well as how these worries affect their bodies.
Through Camille’s interview and dance performance, they give an answer to how oppression and trauma caused by social issues could be overcome through somatic exercises.
