Director Biography - Chan Ponce

Currently studying the eighth semester of the degree. Communication Sciences at the University of Sonora. He is the founder of Cinegoga, a cineclub project with two years of existence that has also hosted events such as Doctubre MX and member of the national network of alternative spaces of the CEDECINE cinema exhibition. He was director of the radio program De Cierto Cine in the company of Mónica Luna, broadcast on Radio Sonora.

He writes essay and film criticism on the Cinema Cácaro blog and has participated in events such as VII FANCINE, an event dedicated to film criticism organized by the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).

He has been part of the work team of the 8th International Festival and Cinema in the Desert, as well as logistics assistant of the Week of Mexican Cinema in your City organized by the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE).

He has participated in cinematographic workshops with personalities such as Alberto Cortés, Alex Díaz San Vicente, Luna Marán, Lucía Gajá, Diego Enrique Osorno, among others.

He is the director of the short documentary Notas Borrrosas, which is part of the National Network of Audiovisual Polls 2018, organized by IMCINE.
