Amber Rose Jones is a successful wedding photographer and second year Graduate student of Film and Television Production at The University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. She is a New Jersey native who relocated to Dallas, Texas after the attack on The World Trade Center. Amber received her Bachelor’s Degree in Film from the University of Texas in Arlington, where she first discovered her passion for Directing and Writing narrative film. Her recent internship experiences have led to hired positions in Documentary research, as well as creatively assisting a major celebrity client. As a multiethnic woman, she is personally invested in diversifying film and broadening the perspective in the writing room. Her interests encompass all forms of creative expression, whether it is painting, theatre, visual marketing, or filmmaking. Amber’s key focus at the School of Cinematic Arts is Directing and Cinematography. She aspires to one day use the multidimensionality of film to explore the polarity of human nature through diverse and oftentimes complex characters. Her most recent work is of the narrative genre, featuring strong female leads who refuse to flinch in the face of adversity.
