Director Statement

Living in Tijuana. México, I've always known and seen the kind of place I am surrounded. The violence, the constant menace and all this kind of bad stuff, but we also have an explosion of life and movement, even though this is something rarely shown to the outside world.

In ¨Blue Hours¨, I want to show these two worlds that can exist in my city, sometimes beautiful and strange and other times hard and violent. This is why the lead character lives in this frenetic state of mind, sometimes life goes too fast for us. This is the importance of this short film to me, a story about a city and a man that can be multiple things all at once.

¨Blue Hours¨is a story of fast beauty, normality, coffee, love and an immediate death. This is a Short Film made with all the passion I could infuse it.
