Blue Butterfly

Lee Choeng Cho and Kim Moon-Tae, two South Korean painters... Using colors and shapes, they travel the world to imagine a utopia. They want to share brushes and paints with people and give the world a message of well-being. Their journey passes in Turkey, South Korea and Ukraine. After the separation between two artist’s we’re focusing on Lee’s individual change. Even if they hit the road with the most sacred goal, they're human beings.

Director Biography - Okan Erünsal

Okan Erünsal, graduated from Istanbul University / Radio Cinema and Tv at 2016. During his education, he produced short films, short stories, poems and experimental videos. His two short films screened and awarded at international short film festivals. He’s working at a private video company and working about creative productions, short films and stories.

Director Statement

Blue Butterfly shows that human can experience accidents even if you have a great purpose. Living the breaking points is normal. Because life doesn't progress straight.
During the producing process me and my film are get ahead together. 3 months and 3 countries, every country and every production day added a taste of layer. This film has it's own atmosphere but especially layers from artist's spirit, atmospheres from the locations and self-improvement of myself.
