Director Statement

Blood of Ghent has been in the works since early 2022. My team and I have put so much time and effort into everything from development to post-production. When I was creating the story, I knew I wanted to make something very different from other war films. Everything is done very meticulously and is purposefully unique. Music is something we spent a great deal of time on, long before production began. I have always believed that music and sound is what really connects us to the image. Overall, this project was one of the great honours of my young career.
