Blood Sugar
Kevin takes a local gangster hostage in a desperate and reckless final attempt to pay off his debts, asking sensible older brother Liam to be on hand for the exchange. When the hostage takes a turn for the worse, they must learn to put sibling differences aside for a chance at redeeming their friendship, and saving their lives.

Freddie Hall is a British writer and director based in North London. Starting his career as an Assistant Director he has worked on titles such as BABYLON, FURY, WAR MACHINE, WONDER WOMAN and most recently ALADDIN. Hall started making short films in 2008 and was scooped up by Independent Talent after his third, SIDETRACKED. His short BEST MAN, starring Ben Hall (The Durrells in Corfu/ Royal Night Out) and BAFTA Nominated EE Rising star Josh O’Connor (Gods Own Country/The Crown/Les Miserables) was nominated for best short in a variety of festivals screening around London and the world. BEST MAN was then picked up for worldwide distribution in 2018. Later that year Freddie directed - DEAD TO THE WORLD starring Craig Parkinson (Line of Duty/Misfits/Four Lions), Susan Lynch (Ready Player One/ Enduring Love) and Jonny Sweet (Loaded/Chickens/Together) and was Co-Writer/Producer LAST CHRISTMAS starring Daniel Ings (Lovesick/The Crown). Blood Sugar is his latest directorial adventure.
