Blivits!
Blivits! is a personal documentary about the men that served on the USS Randolph. The story of this ship is the story of the United States Navy from World War II until the end of Vietnam. Unfortunately, the ship melted down for scrap, we are left with only the increasing foggy memories of its sailors to tell the tales of the ship that saw duty on six continents over 30 years.

I was first asked to interview the men of the USS Randolph by my father in 2010. In one day of interviews, I realized that the story of this ship and these sailors needed to be recorded. That quest to do the stories of the Randolph justice has been an obsession of mine for the past 5 years. I have learned a great deal about the Navy and the men I interviewed, but I learned even more about myself.
