Caitlin Carleton is an actor and filmmaker from Cleveland, Ohio currently living in Los Angeles. She has two films on the festival circuit- FANTASY PONY, a mockumentary about girls who collect model horses, and BLACKOUT, a drama about a woman spiraling down from addiction. She is inspired by stories about second chances and she loves to find the comedy in things.
She has her own production company "Red Sage Productions" which has produced pilots, web series, theater, films, and stand-up shows. Caitlin also started a non-profit organization called "Just Give Love" which helps the homeless living in Los Angeles. She lives with her pitbull, Spencer.
Blackout is a very personal story for me. I grew up around addiction and alcoholism and I watched first hand how easily it can destroy the lives of loved ones around me. It is really easy to judge the behavior of someone else, but when you are in it, it is much harder.
