Bitter Honey
A raw and intimate exploration of a crumbling college relationship, Bitter Honey captures the tension between love and incompatibility. Flora and John, two 19-year-old students, navigate the complexities of communication, respect, and emotional wounds as they confront the fractures in their bond. Through flashbacks of tender moments and the harsh reality of their present-day conflicts, the film examines the fine line between affection and bitterness, leaving both to question if love is enough to sustain them.

Me and Love have a rocky relationship, she’s someone I know, but I don’t know well enough. With "Bitter Honey" I aim to explore the intricate dynamics of young love, miscommunication, and personal growth. Relationships are often romanticized in popular media, but "Bitter Honey" seeks to offer a more realistic portrayal of the challenges and complexities that come with emotional intimacy. We hope for this film to encourage healthier communication, promote emotional growth, and empathy within relationships.
