the film is at first glance about a mother who lives with her only daughter and no one else. the girl gets pregnant by her boyfriend and hides it from her mother. her boyfriend takes her to the clinic to abortion and since this is very sensitive matter in Iran none of doctors who declare it is illegal accept responsibility and the boy inevitably goes to the black market where you can find rare drugs and buys pills and drugs without knowing their expiration have expired that leads to the girls' death. the story begins when her mother can't or doesn't want to accept her girl's' death and decides to hold her body to live with her and confronts the boy on the birthday' night
