Director Statement

Last year I lost my mother after her short battle with cancer. From one day to another my whole world was turned upside down, and still, to this day I wake up needing to adjust to the fact that my closest person in the world is gone.

People told me that she would always be with me. I kept on looking for her everywhere I went. I looked for her in the eyes of women that passed me on the street, in the wind that blew in my hair, in white swans swimming by in the ocean. As I kept on looking, I realised, she is all around.

I wanted to capture this feeling in a film. The feeling of loss and the constant hope of meeting again.
