Director Statement

My love of photography began when I was 11, when my mother bought me my first camera. I would spend my days after school, trying to capture the light burning through the leaves of the forest behind my house. I would take photos well past golden hour and then make my way home/back to reality.

Art was important to me because it gave me a purpose. I felt important when creating something. My love for photography eventually grew into a love for film. I initially went to school for photojournalism, then made my way to New York to study theater.

Directing felt like a very organic next step, after studying visual and performing arts. I am able to blend my passion for both acting and photography into one art form.
