Binary
A meditation on balance and two sides that can make up the self: between the weekend and the weekday, work and freedom, hedonism and self-restraint, childhood and adulthood, loneliness and popularity, sex and sexuality, him and her, written journeying through Berlin after a weekend of hedonism in Berlin - set to found footage and sounds of the city as captured by Magdalena Jordán.

Magdalena Jordan (1986, Santiago de Chile) is a Painter and Video producer, who's artwork is focused in the relationship between people and territory, being her most common media of expression, figurative drawing and painting, related to Landscapes and graphic narrativity.
I am interested to connect stories, voices and territories, through it expression in the landscape.
I think people migrate and travel in order to find a place where they can be theirselves and develop their identity in a more suitable and chosen environment. Due to this practice, places and landscapes are constantly being modified, and they embrace these stories by accident.
I am interested to collect and represent this phenomena, and Binary is a collection of personal footage that found their body thanks the Poem of Jack Drummond.
