Director Biography - Michael Akuno

Born in 1993 in the slums of Tuwani - Kenya, Michael Akuno developed his love for film at a tender age and could dodge home chores to attend local video shows and a couple of times help in cleaning the video halls for a free movie sessions.
His love for the motion pictures and theatrics made him join Drama clubs in all levels of his education levels and in college began shooting short scripts for his online platform.

His first feature film "It Wasn't Me" that was shot for Universities' competitions won regional awards. He has also been engaged in making different short action and comedy films.

Michael Akuno who is a Bachelors degree holder in Education arts and Special Needs Education left the Village for the City to pursue a Diploma course in Film and Television Production for a chance to experience the industry standards.
