Afnan Khan has created several movies as Director, Producer, Actor, Writer and Cinematographer. His works include short films like Animal Religion (Science Fiction), Birthday (Horror Drama), Ascension (Satire, Sci-Fi, Comedy), Camille's Story (Family Drama), Firefly (Romance), Glitter Bomb (Satire), Bhishan Singh (Satire) and Thirst of Desires (Dark Romantic Drama). Afnan is also an award winning journalist who is known for his representation of journalist unions in South Asia and extensive reporting in crucial fields of human rights, minorities, Indus Valley Civilisation, education, wars, art and culture.
It's passion project created by artists from India and Pakistan together to mark the trauma that was caused by the partition of India and how it destroyed the life of one of the most progressive writers India ever produced namely Saadat Hassan Manto. He left his city of Mumbai to Lahore where he died young in a mental asylum due to the depression caused by the illtreatment of the conservative society.
