We wanted to explore the life of an ex-footballer whose career had finally ended. When the noise has died down, all they're left with is the heavy knocks, which potentially could cause (CTE) Chronic traumatic encephalopathy. We understood discussing this topic and the footy drinking culture was taboo. We explored alcoholism for the hidden pains that were quelled. And the juxtaposition of some players making it in the media while others were left with scars. We were grateful that Beyond Blue supported our project and let us put their details at the movie's end.
