Between

Uroš Timić was born in Smederevo in 1991, where he finished high school. He graduated from the Department of Library Science and Informatics at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade in 2015. He worked for five years at the National Library of Smederevo, for two years at TV Kurir as the presenter of an information program, and currently hosts the author's show "Regional Culture" on TV Jadran.
He published his debut novel "Osmi život" in 2015 in the publishing house Laguna as one of the three winning novels of the Literary Online Incubator contest organized by the Center for Youth Your Serbia. A year later, he publishes his second novel "Forty Days" in the "Alfa" edition of the association "Mladi dolaje", created as a project of the Association of Writers of Serbia, and becomes a member of the UKS.
He published short stories in the magazines "Književni pregled", "Umetnčki horizont", "Književni novine", "Istoku", "Bdenju" and "Mons Aureus" and on the portal "Blacksheep.rs". He also published stories in the author's collections "Scream 2" and "Guardians of the Golden Fleece 2". For three short films, he won the award "Duško Trifunović" Scene of all creatives, for the category of writers under the age of thirty. He participated in an international essay writing project on "Building Peace in Our Hearts and Souls", a project funded by UNESCO. As a columnist, he also worked on the portals "Pokazivač", "Film Fan Klub" and "Plezir magazin", and his texts were also published on the portal "P.U.L.S.E."
He is also the founder of "Blogger Fest", a festival intended for young bloggers that was held for the first time in December 2018. Leader, organizer and initiator of the entire project until 2022, when, due to obligations, he left this project even though he is the creator of the idea. Blogger fest still exists.
In April 2019, he published his third novel, "Reptile", as an author's edition, and in September 2022, his fourth written novel, "House with a Glass Bell". In addition to the printed ones, the Bookmate platform also has electronic works "The Provincial" and the series of stories "Hell Rhapsody". At the beginning of 2023, he also published the book of poetry "The Sad Raven" in electronic format.
The first novel "Osmi život" was translated into a play by Theater 5. The adaptation was done by Zoran Rakić with the assistance of Uroš Timić. The play is still in the repertoire of Theater 5 and is performed at Academy 28 in Belgrade. Outside of Belgrade, it has so far been performed in Smederevo.
Inspired by his work on television, but also by his work in a play, he enrolled in the directing school "Focus" in 2023. He is the author and director of the film "Between" - final project for the aforementioned school. It is a short seven-minute film that has not yet been shown to the public. In the same school, in 2015, he completed the initial acting course, and he also played one of the roles in the aforementioned film. In addition to this, he is the author and director of the short film (a one-minute film) "F.20".
In addition to the above, his hobbies are fashion: this year he will present his first collection at the BAFE fashion event in June 2023, and he is also engaged in painting (some of the collages, combined with digital art, were exhibited in London, at a public exhibition of group authors in January 2023).
