Director Biography - Adam Weingrod

Adam's works have been screened in prominent film festivals such as Venice Film festival, DOC NYC, Fipadoc, Docaviv, Santa Barbara International Film Festival and shown on yesDocu and Kan11 channels to name a few.
"The Island" won several international awards including Best Debut Film at the Verzio Human Rights Festival and Dutch Golden Stone Award for best Documentary - SCENECS International Film Festival.
Alongside filmmaking Adam works as a composer for various film projects and in 2023 he was nominated for an Ophir Award (Israeli Academy) for Best Original Music for the film "The Other Widow".
Adam holds a B.A. from the Jazz Dept. of the Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and an M.F.A from the Steve Tisch TAU Film Dept.
