Prejudice to Privilege THE LIFE OF BELLE DA COSTA GREENE : inspired by real events

A young, light-skinned black woman with a love for books and antique manuscripts gets the job of the century as the private librarian to J. P. Morgan during the Gilded Age.
She builds a prominent career in the art worlds of America and Europe. Traveling and working closely with Mr. Morgan they form a close bond and she stays with the job till his passing and beyond. She builds America's most preeminent library and befriends all manner of high society names all while passing as white.
