Belfast: The Movie is an experimental genre-queer short. The premise was to put 5 Belfast people - 3 actors, a writer and a standup comic - in a room and force them to watch Kenneth Branagh's lockdown masterpiece "Belfast" (2021). And then film the results.

People react in a variety of different ways seeing themselves and their culture portrayed on screen. The conversation quickly shifts from a film review to a broader debate on screen representation, identity politics and remembered history.

No actors were harmed in the making of this production.
