BEER FOOD FILM FESTIVAL
Cincinnatians LOVE their beer, food and films. The Beer Food Film Festival (BFF Festival) is a celebration of all three.
Beer Food Film Festival is 1 day festival featuring the artistry of independent film-making through inspiring and extraordinary short films, and the very best of independent craft beer and food the region has to offer.
Our goal is to bring Cincinnati film lovers the very best of short silent films with the topics of beer and/or food, horror, romance, comedy, animation and documentary from around the globe. This year, 2014, is the inaugural year for the Beer Food Film Festival in Over-the-Rhine (OTR), Cincinnati, Ohio. October 25, 2014.
All of the proceeds support the Midland Film Institute.
The nonrefundable entry fee must be payable in US dollars to Midland Film Institute. Entries must be POSTMARKED by the deadline. Submission costs vary depending on discounts, such as early- bird due date. When submitting to the festival you are agreeing that if chosen to screen during the dates of the festival, Beer Food Film Festival will not pay any additional screening fees presented by the submitter. The only acceptation would be if it is agreed upon prior to a certain films submission.
The Beer Food Film Festival is a competitive showcase for domestic and international silent and black/white shorts (5 minutes to 15 minutes). Think back to the origins of film. The story lines were simple, fun, entertaining, and SILENT! Dialog, simple one or two lines, is presented on black and white tiles. In addition to public screenings, the films will be viewed in participating bars and restaurants during the festival.
The Beer Food Film Festival Committee reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any project submitted. All films must be Beer Food Film Festival Premieres. This means NO theatrical, cable, television, DVD, VHS, or internet screenings or availability of any kind in the Cincinnati, OH region prior to the BFF Festival 2014 dates (October 25, 2014).
