Director Statement

This project is a little bit of my fears and desires, I hold it very close to my heart. “Beau” is very personal to me for a number of reasons, so if at least one person feels seen in one aspect or more, and helps them figure stuff out, this project would have served it’s purpose. A very, very especial thanks to Fernanda García who helped me so much, she gave me advice, she told me what looked better, she gave me moral support, and she gave me the courage to submit this to a festival… Thanks to Aranzazú Pérez who helped me the day we filmed, she drove us around the city to go have lunch, buy some stuff we needed, and drove us to the restaurant where we shot only one camera shot lol, she also helped me with the scene dressing, and calming my dog so he wouldn’t make a lot of noise.
