Writer Biography - MJ Leonard

"Beasts of Danu" is MJ Leonard's first television pilot screenplay. In addition to writing this original screenplay, MJ co-developed the story with his short film collaborator Richard Hoffner.

Prior to Beasts, MJ created the original story and screenplay for the short "Electric Jenny." EJ has been screened at three film festivals and was recognized with a Jury Award during the 2018 Veritas Film Festival.

During the early 2000's, MJ served as an Army public affairs videographer; shooting operational footage and interviews in locations including Iraq and Afghanistan. Before that he directed, produced and wrote industrials.
