Be Safe, Be Careful, I Love You
Be Safe, Be Careful I Love you is an audio and visual representation of loss. The film is grounded by a series of recorded phone calls between the director and members of his family. Masked figures depict family behavioral patterns during a period of grief while several visual motifs, including an ever present white column and bleak color palettes, investigate familial instability and the temporal reverberation of trauma.
