Director Statement

Be My Guest is a sci-fi horror short film. It’s set in Barcelona highland in modern days.
“Be my guest” is inspired by Pan's Labyrinth of Guillermo Del Toro, Twin Peaks of David Lynch and The Killing of a Sacred Deer by Yorgos Lanthimos where a fairy tale is merged with the reality and where the legends prove to be real. It brings you into the woods to face your ancient, mystical, demonic yourself, your Doppelgänger.
“Be my guest” is a premise of a future dystopian world. In this world your place in life can be taken by your Clone with the mysterious unknown origins. But even if you are safe, you can't be sure that the person next to you is original and not a perfect Clone with unclear goals.
