Due to the wave of urbanization, many individuals relocate far from their relatives and hometowns for work, leading to the separation of numerous families. Old farmer Zeng has traveled from a distant location to the metropolis of Beijing to reside with his son and grandson. The impact of modern culture is evident, causing a sense of alienation among family members. Invisible trauma permeates and is inherited across generations in this family, with each member living in their own realm of anxiety.

随着社会城市化的浪潮，许多人背井离乡到遥远的都市工作，他们的家庭也因此分裂。农民老曾不远千里来到北京与儿孙一起生活。现代都市文化使人疏离，隐形的创伤在这个家庭里代际传承，他们每个人都陷入了各自的焦虑。

Director Biography - LI Jia

Li Jia, Born in Ningdu, Jiangxi Province, China, Base in Beijing. Creator of film and theater works, Director, Editor.
He regards life as a treasure. He applied himself to exploring the soul of the world. His works focus on people's emotional difficulties and spiritual structure.
Li Jia's works had been shortlisted for Inner Mongolia Youth Film Week, Beijing International Short Film Festival, Beijing Youth Drama Festival, Wuzhen International Drama Festival, Chinese Contemporary Drama Biennale and French Avignon Drama Festival.

李嘉，1989年出生于中国江西省宁都县，电影、戏剧创作者，导演、剪辑师，现居北京。
 他的作品关注人物内在的精神状态与情感困境。曾受邀参展北京国际短片联展、内蒙古青年电影周、北京青年戏剧节、中国当代戏剧双年展、乌镇国际戏剧节、三星堆戏剧节、中国乡村戏剧节、法国阿维尼翁戏剧节等中内外艺术节。

Director Statement

This is an unconventional narrative work, This experimental film combines fiction and improvisation, It presents some of my observation of this society and reflection on people's emotional and mental state in it.
A film is a mirror whose blank space is filled with reflection. I am try to open a gap between the imaginary and the real through a minimalist narrative. showcasing the subtle emotional knots between people in modern life.

这是一部非传统的叙事作品，它实验性的将虚构和即兴创作结合，呈现了我对这个社会的一些观察，以及对身处时代其中的人们的情绪和精神状态的反观反思。
电影就像一面镜子，空白处填满的是投射。我想通过一种极简主义的叙事打开想象和实在之间的裂缝，展示现代生活中人与人之间的难以被察觉的情感纽结。
