Baulani
Baul songs and philosophies are the lifestyles of women, walking in harmony with men. Owing to their practice of Baul music, these women are referred to as Baulanis. In a male-dominated society, their path may not always be smooth. Yet they forge ahead overcoming obstacles. They are popularising the genre of Baul music and its philosophy in the country and abroad. Centred on their lives, the film upholds the journey of 5 Baulanis – Subhadra Sharma, Mallika Akar, Arati Biswas, Nityapriya Mondal, Rina Das.
