Batuhan Özbay, who lives in Istanbul, is currently pursuing his higher education in the English Nursing program at Istinye University. In 2021, he submitted his first amateur short film, "Hephaistos", to the international "First-Time Filmmaker Sessions" festival held in the United Kingdom. His project passed the preliminary selection round and qualified for the audience voting stage. Out of 90 participants, he ranked 32nd, achieving a notable success.

Following this accomplishment, he enhanced his writing skills by receiving training from some of Turkey’s leading screenwriters, including Kerem Kurdoğlu, Eylem Canpolat, and Deniz Akçay. Later, he joined the scriptwriting teams of Eylem Canpolat and Pelin Gülcan, contributing to various TV series projects alongside them.

Currently, he is working as a screenwriter for the television series "Sen Ağlama İstanbul (2024–2025)". He also continues to develop and write individual projects.
