  • This festival is a true jewel … every filmmaker should enter their work … the communication is superb and the judging is spot on … we didn’t win our category but won with the hospitality and quality that this festival brings … a true experience all should participate in … Thank You Bare Bones for the wonderful experience.

Absolutely LOVED everything about the Bare Bones Music and Documentary Festival. Sharon and Oscar were great... showing off their southern hospitality and their love for filmmakers and movie shakers! The opportunity to network and learn from my peers was simply priceless! My sitcom pilot "That's So Gay" was a part of the table read and it definitely was an enjoyable moment! CROWN was shown at the ROXY and that would have been enough for me... but we won an award and that definitely was the sugar on top. Our 48 hour film "The Drink" won for best director and I couldn't be more proud because Erika did get thing in directing us in that short period of time.

Thanks Bare Bones for a wonderful experience and I am totally inspired and re-energize to create more!
