I am honored that my film "5x7" was nominated for Best Documentary Short Foreign Origins. The 2021 festival has programmed some very fine films and you can tell even from across the pond that Shironbutterfly and all the staff are exquisite people. A real shame not to have been there.

They were quite communicative and offered a very cool line up of films. I look forward to submitting future work to them.

  • This was a cool festival. I wish my band and I could have attended the live event in Oklahoma... it would have been great!
We were certainly honored to receive a "best music covide pandemic video" award (COVID WORLD)... THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! -- Pete Jacelone director and bass play for The DIRTY BLONDES!

  • We absolutely LOVED our time at Bare Bones in Muskogee, OK. Such welcoming, kind, enthusiastic artists run this festival. We drove all the way out from California to see our Documentary premiere on the big screen. Especially after Quarantine and in-person festivals being on hiatus this last year, it was especially moving. Shiron and the whole team are wonderful. Definitely submit and definitely GO to the festival. Very rich history in that part of the country as well.

  • I'm thrilled to see a festival that brings the worlds of music and film together right here on Oklahoma soil. I'm proud to have been a part of it and I'm excited to see more for years to come.
