Cari Daly has received over twenty Finalist, Semifinalist, and Quarterfinalist rankings so far in 2018, including Nicholl Quarterfinal, Nicholl Top 20%, Tribeca Sloan Top Five, Coverfly Red List Top Twenty Scripts of the Year, Page Semifinal, three Austin Second Rounds, and Finalist in We Screenplay Diverse Voices, Set in Philadelphia, The Launch by Screencraft, Stowe Story Lab Tangerine Fellowship, and New Orleans Film Festival, among others. She is the grandchild of Irish gangsters, immigrants, Canadian mennonites and Southern orphans, who grew up in Washington, D.C., escaped to NYC and currently lives in South Central LA. Cari received her BFA from NYU's Tisch School where she was awarded the Artist and Scholar Award, the Playwrights' Horizons Award and the Edie and Lew Wasserman Scholarship. She continued to the AFI Conservatory, where she just received her MFA in Screenwriting and won the Writers' Room Ready TV Pilot contest.
