Writer Statement

I am a storyteller inspired by folklore and the myths of different cultures. I express the human experience using fantasy and horror settings, be it novel or screenwriting. Fans of my work love to delve into rich new worlds and experience new perspectives on life, love, and loss. I love bringing readers along into the deep, exciting worlds of my imagination and giving them a place to play and explore concepts they might normally look away from, such as self-acceptance and personal trauma.
My passion lies in bringing characters and stories to life, using one-off books and series, novellas, and now, screenwriting. I will continue to publish my books, including a release of the first book in the series, Banggereng, which is a companion to promote this television series over the coming years.
