Bamboo

In this short film we present to you an individual with special need's who is in his twentie's. It tells the story of a father who lost his wife, raising his son alone without leaving him alone and living with his son. In this short film we wanted to show the importance, of patience and education for the development of people with special need's. The developmental stages of the individual with special needs, together with education, and the effort of the father and patience are discussed.

Director Biography - Nazım Bayraktaroglu

Nazım Bayraktaroğlu

1994 Lefkoşa doğumlu. Eğitimini YDÜ Sahne Sanatları Oyunculuk Anasanat Dalı üzerine tamamlamıştır. 4 yıl boyunca Bozkurt Kuruc, Cihan Ünal, Ayşegül Atik gibi Türk Tiyatrosu ve Türk Sineması üzerinde kalıcı etkiler bırakmış isimler eğtim aldıktan sonra 2017 yılında Lisans eğtimini tamamlamıştır. 2019 Yılında Esprin Sanat Tiyatrosu'nda 'Salaklar Sofrası' adlı tiyatro oyununu hem yönetmiş hem de oynamıştır. 2022 yılında Devlet Tiyatroları'nda Devlet Sanatçısı olmaya hak kazanmıştır. Aynı yılda hem senaristliğini hem de yönetmenliğini yaptığı 'Bambu' adlı kısa film ilk tecrubesidir. Bugüne kadar 10'dan fazla tiyatro oyununda oynamış, 2017 Yılında ''Ayıp Ettik'' adlı Tiyatro oyununda gösterdiği performansla İstanbul Direkler Arası Ödülleri'nde 'Genç Yetenek Teşvik Ödülü' almıştır. 3 kısa film, 1 belgesel ve 2 kamu spotu reklamında kamera karşısına geçmiştir. İlk Yönetmenlik tecrubesini 'Bambu' ile yaşamıştır.
