The Ballad of Body

Sarab, at the end of her energetic work day as an actress, feels something odd in her body and her mental balance fades. Her sister wants to advise her by implying the unity of body and soul.
This short narrative movie is about a deep connection between soul, mind and body.

Director Biography - FARHAD EİVAZİ

Born and raised in Tabriz , Iran in 1975
He has over 20 years’ experience in cinema field by writing senario, filming documentaries and experimantal films.
He started his cinema career in Iran by writing documantry and experimental texts , photoghrapghing behind the sean ,Assistant cinematoghragher,then Assistant director.
He is working now as a Senarist, Director and Producer.
Eivazi moved to Turkey in 2011.
Studied his undergrad and post grad in Cinema program , in Turkey. While studying , researching and teaching in this field.
Eivazi has written and directed several short films and documentaries, primarily on Human Rights issues.
He’s highly skilled in studio and location shoots, often collaborating in literary and cinematic links of language and culture between Iran and Turkey.

After settling in Istanbul, he continued filmmaking while frequently serving as part of the jury in various film festivals.

In addition ,he has published numerous articles on Iranian cinema and literature in several journals and translated several books from Persian to Turkish.

He is a member of “Festival Organizing Committee " in Turkey,
A member of Society of Turkish Independent Film makers in Turkey,
A member of Festival referee in Turkey.

A member of Society of Iranian Documentary producers and Film makers in Iran.

He is owner of "Simurg Media film office" in Istanbul.
