"Bad Citizen" (Go Little Camaro)

Ramona Winthorp is a young museum employee, sarcastic and terribly bored with her life. She meets Chris a young, fast talking, fast driving tough. He talks her into letting him drive her from the East Coast all the way to California as she has a sick relative that she needs to visit there.
Unknown to her Chris is a small-time gangster, who has been hired to drive some very questionable cargo to California, a tactical nuke to be sold to terrorists by his cousin McCallister, who hates Chris but needs him for his driving skill.
They set out in a stolen, brand new red Chevy Camaro and soon become caught up in danger and turmoil as Chris decides to double cross his cousin, and McCallister and his body guard Mitch begin chasing them across the country.
The police have also picked up their trail due to Chris's habit of robbing convenience stores. Ramona goes along with it because she knows McCallister wants to kill her along with Chris to keep her silent as well.
They finally reach the inland desert of California, where they are supposed to hand over the device. McCallister has kidnapped Ramona, and demands to have the nuke in exchange for her.
Chris meet them and the buyer, Mr Carlitti, at an abandoned well in the desert, unknown to them he has armed the device and demands their guns. Instead Carlitti punches Chris out knocking him into the well which is a cavern underground. They also throw Ramona down who saves Chris from drowning.
Carlittle has given up on the bomb, and says they'll just drive out of the blast zone before it explodes. Before he does he shoots both McCallister and Mitch for screwing up the operation, they fall down apparently dead.
Inside the well, Chris manages to boost up Ramona high enough to grab some vines which allow her to climb out, she disarms the bomb, and lowers the bucket so Chris can climb out.
McCallister is badly wounded not dead, and he prepares to kill both of them, but Mitch who is barely alive, shoots McCallister and says he always hated him anyway before he also dies.
Chris and Ramona drive away in the Camaro, hoping to escape and live in Mexico after getting reward money for the bomb.
