Bad Choices

In the middle of 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Lucas (Caio Levy), an ex-convict, is fired from his job and on the same day, a "former friend" of his named Alex (Carlos Eduardo) invites him to a "little job", which is basically robbing the safe of the church they attended as children... Lucas is reluctant due to having already been arrested for a robbery he committed with Alex years ago. But even so, Lucas accepts Alex's proposal, who also invites a locksmith who has worked with him in other robberies named Tiago (Reinaldo da Silva)... Although it seems like a simple job, during the execution of the plan they are faced with some difficulties, such as betrayals, regrets and even supernatural events that will change their lives forever!

Director Biography - Caio Levy

At the age of 26, a name appears on the cinematographic scene that promises to redefine the visual narrative: Caio Levy. Graduated in Production Engineering, Caio is also a screenwriter, director, actor and editor, imprinting his mark on his own works both in audiovisual and theater.

Founder of the production company T127 in 2021, Caio found in the Protestant church the starting point for his passion for cinema, where cultural and social projects took shape. The beginning of his journey was marked by the musical "The Fugitive Blacksmith" (2019), which addressed the trajectory of former slave James W. C. Pennington.

In 2020, the pandemic did not stop Caio's creativity. He turned "The Fugitive Blacksmith" into an engaging short film, revealing adaptability and preserving his vision. His short film "Passe Pelas Águas" (2020) explored racial and religious themes with editing skills.

In 2022, the series and film "Péssimas Escolhas" presented Caio as an actor and director, diving into an intriguing narrative. The film follows Lucas, an ex-con looking for redemption, who is led into a robbery after being fired from his job. The meeting with an old "friend" and the proposal to rob a church safe trigger a series of unpredictable events, full of betrayals, regrets and supernatural elements that irrevocably alter the lives of the characters.

Caio Levy's trajectory reflects self-discovery, where cinematic technique and artistic vision come together. With the T127 as his platform, he continues to push the boundaries of cinema, inspiring future filmmakers and moviegoers alike to explore the depths of human emotion.
