Work of this artistic nature cannot be done without excellent artists who share the vision. Please meet the cast of Back to the Heart:

Frederick Keeve - Composer and Actor
Frederick Keeve has been writing most of his life, either for pleasure, academically or professionally for the entertainment business. He is also an accomplished musician, music director, accompanist, and composer. In addition, Keeve recently completed a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology. He enjoys combining his passion for film, psychology, spirituality and music that fuels his lifelong goal to elevate people's consciousness through his art—as filmmaker, producer, composer, director, writer and actor.

Amongst many films and television work, Mr. Keeve completed a feature film, The Accompanist, a fantasy/drama gay love story with magical realism, classical ballet and classical music as the backdrop. He has won or been nominated for over 35 major awards at film festivals around the world. The film's theme: using the healing power of art to unite and celebrate who we truly are. Frederick also completed and released his feature film, The Godfather Buck, in 2022 which he is very excited about, and is currently making the festival rounds

Mr. Keeve has the feature film Salome: A Love Story coming out in 2023 for which he is the main producer and leading male role, Jimmy Comes Marching Home in 2023 for which he plays the leading role of James Stewart, and he is also in pre-production on The Accompanist Awakening the sequel to his award-winning feature film The Accompanist, and in pre-production on the six-part miniseries The Girl from Hollywood by Edgar Rice Burroughs and also starring and producing the theatrical play production of The Godfather Buck in 2023.

Mr. Keeve's lifetime mission is to develop and produce highly conscious screenplays, films and music that reflect not only the diversity in society today, but also the need to evolve "Hollywood" into a more conscious conduit for great storytelling that entertains, but can also enlighten and uplift audiences.

Frederick was thrilled to collaborate with LA Dance Moves, not only to perform his music but to be part of the vision of this new genre of music and dance. He was deeply moved by LA Dance Moves and its healing touch, not only in performance but during the actual creation process.

Principal Dancers:
Elise Filo and Chasen Greenwood are principal dancers in the movement titled “Pieces of You.” It is a duet that tells the story of passion and escape compounded by the composer’s presence and interaction. These dancers work both independently and in company life in Los Angeles and they tell their stories in the documentary.

Akem Harrison is a guest artist who resides both in Memphis TN and Los Angeles. He appears in the last movement “Our Light Within” and shares his story of pain and struggle while being gently guided by the kind Goddesses.

The Goddesses:
Hannah Barr, Michelle Lebowski, and Damara Titmus are the beautiful ballerinas in the role of “the Goddesses”. They work as independent and company dancers in Los Angeles and the Orange County regions. These ladies shared their talents of dance and acting and in the first movement “Goddesses of Music” and the last movement “Our Light Within” includes improvisational movement which is extremely rare in the ballet world.

The beautiful photography in this film was captured by Scott Edwards Photography w Scott was present at many of the rehearsals and captured true to life work-in-progress moments told in black and white. His photos from the live performance are stunning and heartfelt. Scott works in southern California capturing dance and art.
