Backcountry

Two children attempt to survive in the woods on their own.

Backcountry was a quarantine project.

Bailey and Aidan came up with the story/plot of the film and Ann Kathleen wrote a script based on all of their ideas. Aidan wanted the beartrap and Bailey wanted to work with a live snake.

During filming, we encountered a tornado, fortunately, our set survived the tornado, unfortunately, there was a flash flood the very next morning that washed away nearly all of the props. We were able to push through despite the setback.
