Director Statement

I am passionate about sharing this story because it was very similar to my own when I was 22 years young and attempted suicide. I felt invisible, a burden and a great disappointment to my family growing up, so I did not think I would be missed. I relate most to the girl's story in Baby In The Basement. I want to bring more awareness for teens, parents and families impacted by the actions of suicide and attempts, especially in my LGBTQ community. I went back to college because it is never too late to live your dreams.
