Director Biography - Isadora Lis

Isadora Lis began her career at age 21 as a video editor. In 2019, she was director of photography for the short film "Lucas" directed by Mayara Luz. Between 2021 and 2024, Isadora specialized in scriptwriting at EICTV, graduating at the Generation 29. During these three years, she worked on different audiovisual projects. She wrote, directed and produced the music video for "Volta" by singer O Vagner from Belém do Pará. She wrote and directed two short films: "La Cena" and "Bebé". She worked as a screenwriter for the documentary "Cuando llega la noche", directed by Haitian documentary filmmaker Feguenson Hermogene and winner of the Best Documentary Short Film award at the “Cine Plaza 2023 Festival”. She was co-writer of the fiction short film "Matar a un Hombre", directed by Cuban filmmaker Orlando Mora Cabrera, in the distribution phase. Her last works as a screenwriter were with Mexican director Candelaria Palma with the documentary "Flores de mi Tierra" and again with Feguenson Hermogene in "Nan ginen". "Baby" is her second short film as a screenwriter and director.
