Best Short Film Award

Best Short Film Award is film festival with online screening. After cosidering all aspects, we decided to continue as online festival. There are many reasons why we came up to this decision. Firstly, due to still tough pandemic situation in the world, less spectators come to the live events, but our costs are same.

Secondly, we can reach more sepectators via online screening. For example, a maximum 100 people could enter the cinema, but 2,000-10,000 spectators may attend the online event. The main goal of our festival is to promote the work of independent filmmakers and screenwriters to as many people as it is possible. During live event the space for other collaborations between artists can be created.

Best Short Film Award is part of the Best Film Awards - IMDb Qualifing Film Festival. Last year, we awarded films and screenplays in the Best Director Award and Best Script Award. We honored the directors who were shortlisted for Oscar and BAFTA nominations.

We ourselves are filmmakers, producers and entrepreneurs. We know how difficult it is to show the world that someone appreciates your work. That's why we came up with a unique project in which we involved several jurors from around the world and created a new opportunity to show your film to the world.

Our festival support the dissemination of independent filmmakers.

The festival is based on a professional approach. In the evaluation, we focus on the technical design of the film, the idea of ​​the film, dramatic gradation, the tone of the film, the script, the conflict, the reality of the action, the acting performances and we attention to the details on which your film is composed.

The third year has three editions - summer, autumn and winter. Registration for the summer edition is currently underway. The end of the third year will be in January 2023.
