Director Statement

This work was initially done for a Production Design class, and I spent more time working on dressing the shelves behind Lucy's desk than almost anything else. I wanted BOXES to feel relatable in a way that only the pressures of customer service work can. It's chilling and unattached but also fun, and Lucy serves as an everyman character. It's not entirely bleak and yet not entirely charming, and in that way, I think it suits the miniature world I wanted to create.
