BLIND SPOT
The young Jewish elderly care nurse, DANA, is building a special relationship to the former lifeguard ERNFRIED, who worked at a lido in Nazi Germany, 1944.
Ernfried lives in a home for old people where he suffers from dementia. But when Dana is confronting him with dark suppressed memories, the past is catching up with him.

Axel is born in 1989 in East Germany. After years of working as an assistant on shorts, features, advertisement, he starts to find his own language as a storyteller, who put all of his heart and soul into his characters.
Looking away seems to be a deep protective mechanism in human history. Maybe, we can get inspired, even from blind spots of our past, to finally break through these patterns.
