BLACK NEON: Fail
A science fiction that shines a light on the protagonist's silent battle against depression and suicidal thoughts, reports show more than 700,000 die by suicide every year. It's a worthy goal of this hybrid short film to add a voice to the campaign against suicide. The protagonist of the story goes on a journey to put an end to his misery but ultimately fails.

Peace Toba Olatunji is a 2D animator and professional Storyboard Artist with a degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He fell in love with animation at a tender age with influence from a lot of movies from the animation industry giants like Disney, Pixar and Aardman animations. He practiced Architecture for a while in Nigeria and later opted out to pursue his career in Animation in 2019, without technical skills in his desired profession but talent and focus he was able to make a living as a freelancer working with clients all over the world including the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany and a host of others. Honing his skills gradually, he became confident enough to make his first film (BLACK NEON) and has also been able to secure internship in the biggest African studio in South Africa as a Storyboard Artist in 2021. He is looking forward to working with professional teams and getting finances for his projects in the near future.
This is my first short film produced within 8 months and I would love to hear feedbacks and connect with people who want to see more projects from me.
